Intensive Pediatric Care Unit (IPCU):

A well-equipped IPCU (Intensive Paediatric Care Unit) takes 24-hour care of seriously ill children

IPCU is six-bedded unit, which takes care of critically ill patients. Senior paediatric registrars man it round the clock. It is well equipped with all the modern equipments like ventilators, pulse oximeters, ECG machine, nebuliser, syringe infusion pumps, doppler etc.

This unit is working since fifteen years. It caters to critically ill patients who are referred from Mumbai and its suburbs as well as other parts of Maharashtra. Major procedures like central venous lines, peripheral cut downs, intercostal drainage, peritoneal dialysis, mechanical ventilation, lumbar puncture and other interventions are carried out. The average occupancy of this unit is almost 100.A future expansion and further modernisation of unit has been planned during the current year to increase the capacity of IPCU taking future needs into consideration.

School Clinic is part of the Municipal Corporation initiative to offer health services to children from Municipal Schools

Paediatric Emergency Walk-in Clinic:

This handles all emergency pediatric cases round the clock.
