This department is essentially a center for the diagnosis and management of Endocrinologic Disorders.


The following special tests are conducted in the Department:

Estimation of the following Hormones (RIA):

- FSH, LH - Prolactin - Testosterone - Cortisol - Growth Hormone - T3, T4, TSH

Immunology:

- AMA, ATA, GAD

Biochemistry pertaining to Endocrinology:

- Blood glucose - GTT - HbA1c - Microalbuminuria - Cholesterol - Triglycerides

- Urine glucose - Urine pH - Acid load test - S.calcium, phosphorus, creatinine - Semen analysis

Sex Chromatin / Karyotyping for Genetic Disorders
