Patient Services:

Audiometry being done in a noise-proof environment

Audiology: Diagnosis of Audiological Disorders based on several test procedures such as Pure tone Audiometry, Speech Audiometry: BOA, Immittance Audiometry; ABR Audiometry (BERA)

Aural Rehabilitation based on Hearing Aid selection and prescription, Auditory Training, Intensive Speech/Language Therapy, Parental Counselling and guidance related to home programmes, admission to schools for special education.

Speech & Voice:
Management for Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Voice & Resonance Fluency Disorders using various Disorders, equipment such as D.A.F. System; Speech Trainer; Speech Analysis/Therapy System Tape Recorder and PC based Spectrograph (VAGHMI). These supplement & complement our own auditory and vocal apparati.

Language:
Management of Language Disorder of various etiologic origin in children and adults as Aphasia, Autism, Dementias, such Learning Disabilities, S.L.I. etc using developmental check lists, language scales / tests.

Electronics:
Calibration, Maintenance and Repairs of the Electronic, Equipments and Hearing Aids

Psychology: Psychometric evaluation, Play Therapy and parental guidance, Behaviour Therapy in cases having communication disorders with psychological overlay

Special Patient Care Facilities:

Educational:
Classes are taken for the hearing impaired children in J.S. Municipal School premises, Nana Chowk. (Media of instruction: Hindi/Marathi).


Teaching Activities:

	Undergraduate and Postgraduate lectures; Postgraduate Seminars; Guidance of Dissertation work of PG students; Supervision of clinical work done by UG/PG students.
	Clinical Meetings are held every Friday between 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. wherein difficult /interesting cases and those to be discharged, are presented and discussed. This is followed by a Staff Meeting wherein issues related to the Department are dealt with.
