First prize for oral paper entitled "Significance of fluid cholesterol levels in differentiation of exudates from transudates" to Dr. Venkatesh Anchinmane our resident pathologist (IAPM chapter conference held at Mumbai in September 2004). |

First prize for poster presentation entitled "Young adult silent renal cell carcinoma metastatic to cervical lymphnode" to Dr. Mayura Phulpagar, Lecturer in Pathology (IAPM National Conference held at Pune in November 2004). |

Dr. Leena Naik and Dr. Kusum Jashnani, Assoc.Professors, had organised a two day CME on Gynaecologic Pathology in April 2004. This was part of mid year teaching programme of International Academy of Pathology - Indian Division (IAP-ID) where over 260 delegates from all over India had registered. |

Dr. J.D. Rege and Dr. A.D. Amarapurkar, Associate Professors, participated as a faculty in preconference IAP-ID organised at AFMC, Pune in November 2004. Dr. J.D.Rege participated in seminar on splenic lesions. Dr. A.D. Amarapurkar participated in symposium on Tissue pathology in HIV and AIDS. |
