Training and Achievements of Staff:

  • Dr. (Mrs.) K. Saraswathi / Dr. Anuradha Dutta / Dr. Pravin Nair have been trained for HIV/AIDS surveillance by Mumbai District AIDS Control Society. They act as resource personnel in training various categories of health care workers in Mumbai and have organized workshop for VCCTC Technical Personnel of Peripheral Hospital in March 2005.

  • Dr. S. A. Angadi is a Member of Medical Education Cell, Convenor, Institutional Annual Ethics Committee.

  • Dr. (Mrs.) Jayanthi Shastri is looking after laboratory services as Head of the Microbiology department at Kasturba Hospital Infectious Disease Centre.

  • Dr. (Mrs.) K. Saraswathi, Dr. Anjalii Swami, Dr. Pravin Nair & Dr. Baduli Samal participate actively in Nair Hospital Infection Control Committee and have organized a Workshop for Nurses on Infection Control in Operation Theatre (OT), February 2005.
