Procedure for Obtaining Transcripts for Various Courses Offered at the TNMC / Nair Hospital

Graduate Courses - MBBS & B.O.Th., B.P.Th., B.A.S.L.P.:

The student should make an application on a plain paper to the Dean, TN Medical College requesting the transcript. The application should mention the student's name, the course for which the transcript is sought and the year of passing the course.

The cost per transcript is Rs. 200/-, which can be paid by cash or by a demand draft in favour of the 'Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai'. Transcripts will be issued within a week's time. Please note that it is best that the application is personally followed up by some one (in the interest of time).

Postgraduate Courses:

Please note that only someone in person can do this. It cannot be done by correspondence only.

Medical Courses (PG Diplomas, MD, MS, MCh, DM):

These transcripts are not issued by the College but by the University of Mumbai. However, a plain paper application should be made to the Dean TN Medical College requesting the transcript. The application should mention the student's name, the course for which the transcript is sought and the year of passing the course. The Dean will forward this application to the University for processing. After this, the applicant has to arrange for the application with the Dean's remarks to be delivered to the university, where on payment of Rs. 500/- the transcript will be issued. No payment is required to be made at TNMC.

M.O.Th., M.P.Th., M.A.S.L.P. Courses & PhD:

The procedure is the same as for medical postgraduate courses. But as the TN Medical College office prepares a draft transcript and sends it to the University for further processing, the students are required to pay an additional sum of Rs. 200/- at the TN Medical College over and above the payment that is to be made at the University.
