Observership in Various Departments of the Nair Hospital to Medical Graduates


Candidates should submit an application on plain paper addressed to 'Dean, TN Medical College', indicating the branch and the duration for which the observership is proposed. A No-objection certificate from the concerned Head of the Department should be attached to this application. Once approved by the Dean, candidates will be required to fill in application in prescribed form. This is available in the Cash Section of the Education Section, Room No. 112 of College Building, on payment of Rs. 580/- between 11.00 am to 3.00 pm on any working day except 2nd and 4th Saturday.

Candidates should submit a passport size photo, permanent Medical Council Registration Certificate, and the MBBS degree / Passing certificate along with the application.

If the candidate is sponsored, a letter in support of the sponsorship be also submitted with the application. In case the candidate is employed, the application mentioning the designation of the candidate should be routed through proper channel.

The candidate should also pay charges at the rate of Rs. 1500/- (for General Observership) and Rs.3000/- (for Observership in Specialised Subject) per month or part thereof. The payment should be done in Cash or by Demand Draft payable in Mumbai drawn in favour of 'Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai'.
